Scott Brown Bashes Obama’s ‘Bitter’ Push For Health Care Reform – Senator from Massachusetts, Scott Brown is not happy with Obama’s recent push for the health care reform bill. He has made his opinions on the subject very public, and continues to lash out at Obama and other support democrats through television addresses in his home state that have been uploaded to YouTube and spread around the Internet. “An Entire Year Has Gone To Waste” Brown said in his address for both the Internet and the radio that he does weekly. During this address he criticized Obama’s ability to create jobs in America, and his shift in focus from the economy of the United States to health care reform.

Brown himself has been a huge part of the bill not passing from the very beginning. It was brown that took the seat from the late Edward M. Kennedy in an upset, and he voted against the bill just as the democrats were on the verge of passing it. It was during his run to become the senator of Massachusetts that the entire democratic party campaigned against him, in hopes that they would not lose their majority in the senate.

While an official date for the bill voting has not been set, Barack Obama and other democrat leaders have made it very clear that they have no intentions on discussing the health care bill any further and instead would like to agree to disagree on the matter with republicans. Obama is now making his push to have the bill passed through to the senate as quickly as possible, and Nancy Pelosi has said that she expects the bill to pass.

Scott Brown often campaigned with the promise that he would not allow Obama’s health care bill to see the light of day. Today, months after he took his seat in the senate, he continues to deliver on that promise.
