Arnold Schwarzenegger apparently sent a shocking veto message to assembly member Tom Ammiano of San Francisco who recently told Schwarzenegger “You lie!” and “kiss my gay a–” during an event at the Fairmont Hotel.The profane letter read “F— You.” when you focus on the first letters of sequential lines in the left-hand margin. Aaron McLear, Schwarzenegger press secretary said:

“The governor does hundreds of vetoes every year on legislature bills. Each one comes with a veto message,”"Obviously if you read along the left-hand margin, it spells something, which actually is not uncommon. When you do hundreds of vetoes, something like this is bound to happen.We looked other messages where it said things like ’soap’ and ‘poet’ and ‘ear’ along the left margin. So it’s just a strange coincidence.”

The letter has an unnatural wording. It starts off as very formal before it suddenly “kicks the can” (”keeps postponing” would’ve been a better flowing choice). “Overhwhelming” is an odd word to find there, and that sentence seems to cut short. And finally, “unnecessary” doesn’t seem to be the appropriate word. Good bills, but unnecessary, aren’t signed? The rejection with no real reason is just the cherry on top of that sundae.
The combination of weird wording and the resulting secondary message makes it just too much to believe in an accident. And specifically because it’s not accidental, I find this letter funny.
