As a matter of fact the Palins have been informally living separate lives for some time now, with Todd desperate to get back to the North Slope and away from her madness. That won't happen now because even the talk of divorce - let alone the real thing - is costing them a lot of money. Well, it's costing HER a lot of money and costing Todd his freedom for the time being. Put money on a divorce down the track - after the book and the mini series. She doesn't want to be around him.
