Now, the current mayor of the city is firing back at him, saying that he should probably get his high school diploma before he wants to run his own town. Verne Rupright, the mayor of the city, said that he needs to take care of himself and his child before announcing that he would like to run for the position.
“But since I am nearly old enough to be Levi’s grandfather, I think it would be wise for him to get a high school diploma and keep his clothes on. The voters like that!” he said pointedly.

The report said that the Palin endorsement made 51% of voters less likely to back her, while only 26% said that they were more inclined to vote for someone who was endorsed by Sarah Palin. Moderates disliked the endorsement even more, with 65% saying that a Palin endorsement would turn them off, while only 14% of moderates said that a Palin endorsement would make them more likely to vote for a candidate.
