GOP Beats Democrats On The Economy Says New 2010 Elections Poll – According to a new national poll that was conducted, it appears that Republicans have a slight lead over Democrats on a few major issues, including the economy. The poll was conducted by CNN, and sampled 1,024 Americans randomly, over the phone.
The poll now indicates that 46 percent of Americans believe that if there were Republicans in Congress, they would do a better job of dealing the economy. That is compared to the 43 percent that believe Democrats in Congress would handle the economical situation better. According to the poll, this is the top issue in many American minds lately.

John Boehner Slams Obama Economic Team: Timothy Geithner and Larry Summers – In what is possibly the least helpful advice yet, House Republican leader John Boehner has been calling for President Obama to seek the resignation of several members of his economic team.
While in principle he has a point – mainly that Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers and others have questionable records when it comes to their economic decisions – his speech this afternoon about the necessities of a fresh start offered little substance to back up to rhetoric.
He spoke of the GOP doing things differently if they took the majority in the November elections, but he didn’t give a single example of how. He urged Obama to make drastic spending cuts, but he did not say where, or address the historical fault of cutting spending during an economic recession.
In the end, he said a lot that could be counted on to light the fire under potential voters, but he failed to say how the GOP would actually accomplish anything if they are elected back into power.

John Boehner Fights Back, Slams Obama – The House Republican Leader John Boehner has been taking a lot of punches being thrown his way but the political leader hasn’t been dishing anything back. That was as of yesterday at least because now John has taken a new approach to the bipartisan attacks that critics have been relentless with delivering. Some critics have gone as far as accusing him of belittling the financial crisis in American and acting as if there wasn’t a massive recession being dealt with throughout the country over the last couple years. Critics also suggest that he has promoted cuts to social security and been very lazy with his political procedures.
