Harry Reid, Howard Dean Culpable In Anti-Muslim Stabbing Says Non-Profit Group – A non-profit progressive group that has been vocal of their support of the Islamic cultural center set to be built near Ground Zero has called out several prominent Democrats, accusing them of enabling and encouraging the Islamaphobia that led to the stabbing of a New York cabby earlier this week.

They are among several other people who are more commonly accused of bias against Muslim-Americans, such as Newt Gingrich, John McCain, and Sarah Palin.

It’s either racist or it’s not. And it’s inappropriate, absolutely. So if the standard is the one we saw with Trent Lott as leader at the time, then I think this absolutely falls in that category here. … Remember, this is the same leader who just a few weeks ago was talking about health care in the context of slavery. Clearly he is out of touch.”
