Rand Paul Hoax? Ron Paul Son Kidnapped a Woman in College To do Drugs? – Rand Paul is making headlines for allegedly kidnapping a female friend and forcing her to use drugs.
According to GQ, back in 1983 the Kentucky Republican who was attending Baylor University apparently abducted a female friend and made her “to take bong hits” against her will.

Here is what GQ wrote:

The strangest episode of Paul’s time at Baylor occurred one afternoon in 1983 … when he and a [brother in his liberal secret society] paid a visit to a female student who was one of Paul’s teammates on the Baylor swim team. According to this woman, who requested anonymity because of her current job as a clinical psychologist, “He and Randy came to my house, they knocked on my door, and then they blindfolded me, tied me up, and put me in their car. They took me to their apartment and tried to force me to take bong hits. They’d been smoking pot.”

Timothy Horrigan New Hampshire Rep Resigns after Comments on Sarah Palin – When politicians speak their mind when unscripted, they can say some interesting thoughts and comments that have profound affects on their career and public image.

Timothy Horrigan, a Democratic legislator in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, found that out first hand recently after speculating on the death of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in the media.

On the Thursday following his comments, he resigned his position.

“I don’t wish Sarah Palin dead … but not merely for compassionate reasons…Well a dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one…she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn’t commit any more gaffes,” Horrigan wrote Wednesday on Facebook, according to New Hampshire’s Union Leader.

Illegal Immigrants Babies: 8 Percent of U.S. Births – Illegal immigrant parents are accounting for 8% of all births in the U.S., according to data that was collected by the U.S. Census Bureau. The data was then analyzed by the Pew Hispanic Center.

The children thus received U.S. citizenship under the 14th amendment to the Constitution. Either one parent, of both parents went undocumented after the birth for legal reasons.

This raises questions and arguments on the controversial topic which has been a rather hot topic over recent weeks. Some Republican lawmakers have been very vocal about this issue, wanting to change and revise the laws so that these children cannot receive U.S. citizenship.

This study and it’s results is the most reliable information on immigration and the birth rates of children born to non-U.S. citizens. This information will be used by both sides of the argument, as to whether or not to keep the 14th amendment to the Constitution or to revise and/or change the law.

Huckabee on Birthright Citizenship: Mike Huckabee Backs 14th Amendment – Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is no stranger to going against the grain with his thinking and policies, with an announcement on Wednesday that he does not believe that a change or revision of the 14th Amendment that guarantees birthright citizenship.

Huckabee does not back or endorse in anyway a revision or a repeal of this law.

This policy has been around for three centuries, and there’s been no problem or no need to change the laws, and at the moment there isn’t any problem eventuating from allowing U.S. citizenship to be given to those born within U.S. borders. Huckabee does not think it’s possible to change or revise the laws, regardless of if someone wishes to challenge the U.S. constitution.

Levi Johnston Mayor Of Wasilla Campaign: Verne Rupright Slams Levi Johnston – Levi Johnston has been trying to make a run for the mayor of Wasilla in 2012. Now, the current mayor of the city is firing back at him, saying that he should probably get his high school diploma before he wants to run his own town. Verne Rupright, the mayor of the city, said that he needs to take care of himself and his child before announcing that he would like to run for the position.
“But since I am nearly old enough to be Levi’s grandfather, I think it would be wise for him to get a high school diploma and keep his clothes on. The voters like that!” he said pointedly.
