The Case for Immigration Enforcement and Secure Borders – Faisal Shahzad, the main man behind the plot to blow up a bomb that was centrally located in time square was a naturalized, U.S. citizen but he had terrorism on his mind from the beginning. However, his presence in American rocketed immigration enforcement to the front pages of the papers. What happened exposed many flaws in the United States immigration system as well as the many weaknesses that exist in our policies and information sources. Many Americans feel that our government hasn’t focused on gathering intelligence about U.S. citizens such as Faisal. These are people who have been naturalized in the U.S. because of our currently failing policies. It’s undeniable that many people believe immigration enforcement and secure borders can keep America safe and protect our people from the terrorists that exist in close quarter countries.

Final Financial Reform Bill House Passage – It’s been close to two years since the meltdown in Wall Street that sent the economy on a downfall. The recession sent the United States economy into a dark hole that we haven’t seen as a country since the hard times of the Great Depression. While things weren’t nearly as bad this time around, they were an alarming wake-up call that something needs to be done. Suddenly, we’re seeing change in America as the House of Representatives voted Wednesday to pass a huge bill that will provide a complete change in the financial reform process of the government. The new bill will extend the government’s capabilities to interact with businesses and other companies.

Scotus Blog Covering Elena Kagan Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings – Scotus Blog has been live blogging Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan’s confirmation hearings. A number of concerns have been raised regarding Elena Kagan, President Barack Obama’s choice for Supreme Court Justice. Republicans have stated that she simply does not have enough experience in the courtroom to effectively carry out the job that she was assigned to do. Kagan made headlines following her nomination. Rumors began to spread that she was homosexual, and eventually the term became one of the top terms on Google. Quickly, several former friends came to her aid and claimed that the rumors were not true, saying only that she was a private individual and wanted to remain that way, despite her nomination.

At one point, he too was considered to be the underdog in his party during the general election. He would go on to be elected the President of the United States. So, when Bill Clinton has something to say to democrats -they listen, because he knows what he is talking about.
“Never give up,” he said to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and a handful of other Democrats who have been beaten down by the recent primaries.
Clinton has always had a great mind for politics, and told them that getting down on themselves will only make for a more swift end to their political career.He was able to secure two terms of his own during his time in office, and made it through one of the largest scandals in the history of the White House.

Helen Thomas Israel Comments:Ari Fleischer Wants Her Fired – Helen Thomas has received a lot of attention from the media after she suggested that Jews should “get the hell out of Palestine,” and head back to the European countries in which they came from. The audio clip was captured by Rabbi David Nesenoff of Rabilive.com, and the footage quickly made its way around the Internet
. She made attempts to explain herself after the leak of the video but has not done a very good job at it.
Ari Fleischer recently suggested that she should be fired, saying that he was Jewish, and had previously liked Helen Thomas but that her recent remarks are “appalling,” and that she should lose her job over them.
