Teachers And Firefighters Jobs Bill:House Clears $26.1 Billion State-Aid – The House has continued to try to fix the job situation in America, and has sparked a very partisan debate on the subject. Some have questioned whether or not more aid to state governments is really needed to help add jobs to the US economy. Backers of the measure that would give states an addition $26 billion have said that the states do not deserve extra money because enough jobs were not created with the last financial aid that they received. They say that it may not create more jobs again, and that we need to find other ways than giving money out to create a stable economic environment.

Boy Scouts Boo Obama
August 10, 2010 by Camille H.
Boy Scouts Boo Obama – There seems to be a bit of confusion over the reception of a taped speech given by President Obama. Obama turned down the opportunity to attend the Boy Scouts Jamboree, and chose instead to visit New York City and tape an episode of the View.
Obama taped a pre-recorded message that was shown during the Boy Scouts Jamboree, and footage has emerged of the crowds booing the president. However, another video that was produced by the National Guard seems to be lacking the overwhelmingly negative reaction from the Boy Scouts.
When the two videos in question are watched, it seems as though the heckling could have been simply a few people in the crowd, rather than the larger response that was reported. There is also the possibility that the producers edited the second video in order to diminish the incident.

Barry Soetoro : New Theory
August 9, 2010 by Jerry
Barry Soetoro : New Theory – Paul Joseph Watson has written an engaging piece called Barry Soetoro AKA Barack Obama’s Political Dynasty Crashes And Burns where he made the following points (that you may or may not agree with):
Barack Obama’s political approval ratings have fallen to an all-time low of 41% in recent months. This does not bode well for Democrats in the November elections. The last three Presidents have all had very low approval ratings, and if the economy does not begin to show significant progress, Obama will likely see his approval rating fall further. Some financial experts have said that America may be entering our second great depression.
It is strange to see someone who has been so well-liked have an approval rating that is so low. Of course, many of the things that he has done in office have been polarizing, and in this day and age you cannot expect republicans to approve of someone who goes against everything that they believe in, regardless of how his actions may affect the country.
