Obama Focuses on Harry Reid 2010 Re-Election – The White House and several other allied campaign committees were working long hours in order to compile a list of midterm campaigns to be prioritized. However, the actual decision process had little debate over which race would be their top priority, specifically regarding the re-election of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. His re-election has been a long and drawn out fight in Nevada and seeing the Democrat’s approval ratings started to fall there were reasons to worry.
However, one part operative writes, “He’s the goddamn leader.” This statement put the situation very clear that the Senate and the Democratic Party will protect its leaders.

Some of Reid’s opponents like Sharron Angle have been fighting hard to overtake him.
However, Reid got a primary win over his competition and with several big events coming shortly in his schedule, his campaigns are expected to popularize his candidacy. Reid will be announcing a big fundraising effort that he plans to initiate shortly. It is expected to be a “self-sufficient campaign.” Obama and other Senatorial Campaign Committee leaders haven’t moved Reid down on their priority list at all. In fact, Obama has considered Reid at the top of his 2010 priority list and agenda. Reid and his supporters have been placing Sharron Angle in the media with numerous negative stories surrounding her name. They have managed to set her back in the race and put a bad light on her character which is sure to be seen from on-the-edge voters who will turn in Reid’s favor.
