Massachusetts Senate Primary:Attorney General Martha Coakley Wins – Just moments ago,Attorney General Martha Coakley has won the Democratic nomination in the race to succeed the late Sen. Edward Kennedy.Coakley has managed to beat Rep. Michael Capuano,City Year co-founder Alan Khazei and Boston Celtics co-owner Stephen Pagliuca and is hoping to become the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts.

On the Republican side, State Sen. Scott Brown has defeated attorney Jack E. Robinson.
Brown and Coakley will battle it out in the general election that is set to take place on Jan. 19,2010.
