Lisa Murkowski Slams Sarah Palin: Lacks ‘Leadership Qualities, Intellectual Curiosity’ To Be President – Lisa Murkowski, the republican senator from Alaska is going after Sarah Palin in a way, she has never done before. During an interview with CBS’ Katie Couric, Murkowski said that her longtime rival doesn’t have what it takes to be president.
“I just do not think that she has those leadership qualities, that intellectual curiosity that allows for building good and great policies,” said the senator. “You know, she was my governor for two years. And I don’t think that she enjoyed governing.”
The senator from Alaska is still involved in a bitter race with Palin-supported candidate Joe Miller. The race is still too close to call.
Sarah Palin has not yet responded to Murkowski’s attack.
