That the United States has finally come to grips with the fact that so many of her people have not had access to health care is a monumental advance. The problems with the program stem entirely from the frustrations placed in the way by selfish, rabid, uncaring conservatives.

I DO like Dr. Lewis' article, but this is NOT what I wrote. Why did you (the moderator) remove the link I provided to Dr. Lewis' website ie www.classicalideals.com? Instead of deleting the link to the original article in my post, you should have provided the link yourself.

There a few Items in this article that we can ask our congress woman about. My wife has said the same thing for years. Her father and brother are both pharmacist and her father use to work for Upjohn (a manufacture) and has seen these changes firsthand. The government interventions have caused a drastic rise in prices we pay now. With the bureaucratic control they propose we are going to expect more. Obama in his speech in the so called town hall meeting mention that there were no "death boards" he may be right, but when one person a government representative tells an elderly person s/he is to old and can't pay the high prices caused by this bill but need medical treatment or the medicine to continue living where are they going to go? Dead is still dead. It scares me someone who is more than likely not a doctor or a qualified medical person is given that much power. It's no wonder the Senators and Representatives want this bill not to include them. They see firsthand how government works!

I agree with much, actually all, of what John David Lewis has said in the above article"'What 'Right' to Health Care? and would like very much to pass this article along to friends. How can I do so? I was also hoping to read his analysis of the Health care reform bill as I have not had the time or the ability t fully understand much of the bill due to the complex language used it's drafting.. I was impressed with John's analysis of the bill as read today on talk radio by Rush Limbaugh. If you could let me know how to get access to the complete article for myself , my husband and friends, I would be most grateful. I'd like to email the analysis to friends or give them a link to it.
