John Boehner Fights Back, Slams Obama

John Boehner Fights Back, Slams Obama – The House Republican Leader John Boehner has been taking a lot of punches being thrown his way but the political leader hasn’t been dishing anything back. That was as of yesterday at least because now John has taken a new approach to the bipartisan attacks that critics have been relentless with delivering. Some critics have gone as far as accusing him of belittling the financial crisis in American and acting as if there wasn’t a massive recession being dealt with throughout the country over the last couple years. Critics also suggest that he has promoted cuts to social security and been very lazy with his political procedures.

After John was put under attack by the country’s president during an address from Obama on Wednesday, he started to fight back suggesting that the president has been doing “childish partisanship.” Boehner spoke at a press conference in the morning where he said that Obama should focus on job creation, deficit reduction and oil spill cleanup and he challenged the president to take on these matters sounding fully confident as if it would be too much to handle for the president. However, despite these accusations Boehner still spent most of his press conference countering attacks from his many critics.
If things go to plan for the House Republicans, Boehner might be the speaker of the House upon the next election. However this is only if he can manage to persuade the media to get off his back and stop Democrats from attacking his remarks towards the president and towards the country. Surely he has a tough road ahead of him. Some reviews from papers have applauded the Democratic party for going on the attack against Boehner and they say that the political show off could give advantages to their party.
