Hillary Rodham Clinton Supreme Court Buzz:Obama Says No – When Justice John Paul Stevens retired from the Supreme Court last week, it left many wondering who Obama would choose to fill his place. It is already a well established fact that anyone that is chosen by Obama will reach heavy opposition by the political right in the Senate. Recently, Senator Orrin Hatch said that he has heard Hillary Rodham Clinton’s name mentioned in discussions about who should fill the gap that was left with long time Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens retiring. Choosing Clinton to fill the vacancy seems a little unlikely, but would make for an interesting storyline.

Clinton would face ridiculously heavy opposition if she were chosen. Some have speculated that the republican party will not stand by any choice made by President Obama. Hatch may have shared the information with the Today Show, but would not specify whether or not he would support her nomination for the position. “I Like Hillary Rodham Clinton,” he told the Today Show.
Leahy, a Vermont democrat, said “I think she’s done a good job for the country, not just for democrats.” It remains to be seen if Clinton is being heavily considered, or would even be willing to drop her current duties and take the position. Representatives for Clinton have not commented on the story that was recently released. It will be interesting to see if either side budges when it comes time to fill the position in a month. Obama is unlikely to budge and choose a more conservative candidate, especially after democrats recently lost their statistical majority. Along those same lines, it is hard to see republicans supporting any choice that is made by the current administration.

Update: the white house just killed the rumor.

Ms Clinton, Please do something nice for a change, and I know you can, because, I was going to vote for you, and was so sad when Obama got the dem. ok for pres. I was sick. about that. Anyway, I “LIKE” Mr. MICHEAL SALVAGE” a talk show host out of SF. He is one smart man, And he I believe came before all other talk show host, they have followed him, Please take Mr. Salvage off the England terror list. He does not belong on that list. This is a joke. He is a American citizen, and the English, Mr. Brown, was being a jerk when he did that. Brown is gone, so as a American citizen take Mr. Salvage off the terror list in England. Thank you.
