Helen Thomas Israel Comments:Ari Fleischer Wants Her Fired – Helen Thomas has received a lot of attention from the media after she suggested that Jews should “get the hell out of Palestine,” and head back to the European countries in which they came from. The audio clip was captured by Rabbi David Nesenoff of Rabilive.com, and the footage quickly made its way around the Internet
. She made attempts to explain herself after the leak of the video but has not done a very good job at it.
Ari Fleischer recently suggested that she should be fired, saying that he was Jewish, and had previously liked Helen Thomas but that her recent remarks are “appalling,” and that she should lose her job over them.

Some have suggested that because she has been serving the White House for very long, she should be given a pass for the comments that were made in poor taste. Not everyone agrees, but her service to the country should be taken into consideration before making any wild decisions. She has since apologized for the comments, but the truth of the matter is that she already said how she feels, so there is not much she can do but let the situation die down.
No. She should be fired. I don’t care if she’s 90 years old and has been the queen of the White House Press Corps forever. Those comments were completely inexcusable. This should not “quiet down.” Imagine if she had said all black people should go back to Africa. Would we then take into consideration her years of “service” and wait for the situation to quiet down? Hell no!
Her true feelings are now known. She has shown a total lack of connection to reality – time to go – quietly…………………and now. Senility, true feelings, who knows – no one but her. However, now that it is public there is no excuse.
She had the courage to say what most Americans think. If your family lived in the same house for several generations and all the sudden, some Hungarian Jewish “settler” came in and kicked you out…evicted you, you’d be pretty pissed too. Don’t give me that “God gave us this land” argument because it is a myth much like the Iliad. The people who are thrown out on the streets almost never get compensated one red cent. It’s basically a wild west style land grab on the paart of the Jewish folks.
Self-serving indignation over the remarks of Helen Thomas does not obscure what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. The recent attack is but one of many heavy handed approaches Israel has used to subjugate these people. This is not antisemitic. This is anti-Zionist. The Zionists have been perpetrating crimes against the Palestinians for years, and the United States backs it all. Helen is right!

It was Fleischer who stood by like a good little stooge as the George Bu**sh** regime allowed suspects to go back to Saudi Arabia, while half a million Iraqis and Afghans were murdered.
I’d tell Fleischer to go suck on his own tailpipe but he would try to deliberately miscontrue that as a call to be gassed.
Leave her alone. She has been misinterpreted. She has apologized.
Wow, the ignorance in these comments is stunning. The idea of it being a myth that the Jews took the land first…? Seriously? Did you graduate high school?
Lets see how you fair when someone is blowing up your schools and parks because of hate. Will you sit by and go: Well, gee, I did call him a towel head, so I guess he has every right to kill my kids.
Helen’s comments were ignorant and sad. She’s old, so I’ll give her leniency due to lack of brain cell growth. I feel sorry for her. But anyone who agrees with her should “go back” to the country their ancestors came from.

There is no comparison to what Helen said about the Jews in Israel, and black people in America. Jews travelled to Israel, blacks were taken forcefully from Africa.
Also, what happened to freedom of speech and democracy? The apple has fallen far away from the tree when it comes to “The Land of The Free, and Home of The Brave”. Free to say what they want and brave enough to say it.
