Mary Landrieu (D-La.).Activists James O’Keefe,Robert Flanagan,Stan Dai and Joseph Basel have all been jailed for trying to tamper with phones at Landrieu’s office.The conservative activist was heard saying outside the jail:

It’s “tempting for people suffering in the aftermath of the earthquake to seek refuge elsewhere” but that “attempting to leave Haiti now will only bring more hardship to the Haitian people and nation.”

Following the devastating 7.0 quake that killed 50,000 in the country, France, Canada, and the Dominican Republic are taking similar steps to ease their immigrations rules.
