Bill Clinton Thinks Young Voters Are Fooled By Barack Obama

April 16, 2008

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton attempted to help his wife’s campaign by telling Pennsylvanians that older voters support Hillary Clinton because they’re too wise to be fooled by Barack Obama’s message.Bill claimed:

“I think there is a big reason there’s an age difference in a lot of these polls,” “Because once you’ve reached a certain age, you won’t sit there and listen to somebody tell you there’s really no difference between what happened in the Bush years and the Clinton years; that there’s not much difference in how small-town Pennsylvania fared when I was president, and in this decade.”
“So I think it’s important that we get to the truth of this,”

Clinton seemed to now suggest that younger voters are foolish after more or less labeling them as delusional people few months ago.

US Catholic Voters Could Make The Difference In 2008

April 15, 2008

Catholic
Pope Benedict XVI is not the only Catholic in America right now, there are more than 70 million Catholics in the country and their votes are up for grabs.Furthermore Catholics voters have an astounding track record, picking the winner in eight of the last nine presidential elections.
Pope Benedict XVI has the possibility to guide these people of faith during his first U.S. visit.John Allen, CNN’s senior Vatican analyst stated:

“Benedict XVI is not a superdelegate riding into town to deliver a key endorsement,” “On the other hand, I think it would also be terribly naive to think there’s no political subtext to the Pope’s presence in the United States.”

With 51 percent of American Catholics strongly supporting the idea that abortion should be legal in most or all cases,McCain and the eventual Democrat nominee have some seducing and convincing to do.

Ron Paul Votes Against Human Rights For Tibet

Ron Paul
Ron Paul Votes Against Tibet Resolution

The U.S. House of Representatives almost managed to pass unanimously a resolution that calls on China to end its crackdown on Tibet. The vote was 413-1. Rep. Ron Paul, was the only congressman to vote against measure that urges the Chinese government to respect human rights in Tibet. Here is congressman Paul’s communications director response to the matter:

“Congressman Paul voted against it for the same reasons he has voted against recent measures on Burma and Turkey. In keeping with his non-interventionist foreign policy positions, he feels it is not the place of the US Congress to be making statements such as these about other countries. The US Congress is charged with looking after the freedom of its own people. This is not to say he has no sympathy for the plight of Tibetans, or that private US citizens shouldn’t express their views on the matter. He feels it is just not the role of Congress or the government to do so.”

Ron Paul is in his own dimension.

Jimmy Carter And Al Gore to Team Up Against Hillary Clinton?

April 13, 2008

Al Gore

It is being reported that Jimmy Carter and Al Gore may be the ones to deliver the bad news to Hillary Clinton. The speculations of Carter and Gore endorsing Barack Obama have been spreading for a while now ,therefore is not really surprising that they might be the ones to show Hillary the exit door.According to the Scotsman:

“They’re in discussions,” a source close to Carter told Scotland on Sunday. “Carter has been talking to Gore. They will act, possibly together, or in sequence.”

No news as yet whether if this will take place before ,after the Pennsylvania primaries or at the convention.
