Orrin Hatch Supports Ground Zero Mosque – Senator Orrin Hatch, a republican from Utah, is standing up for the religious freedom of all Americans by supporting the building of Park51 down the street from the ground zero site. He supports religious freedom, and is one of few Republicans who have spoken in favor of the construction of Park 51. President Barack Obama also endorsed the mosque for the same reasons, but has acknowledged that he understands why the issue has been so bitterly debated.
